What really is your heart's intention?

We see in Numbers 22 how God finally agrees for Balaam to go answer to the call of Balak, but on the condition that he will speak only what God puts on his heart, which was that he couldn't curse the children of the Israelite. Trust humans, Balaam, though in agreement with God, had his own intentions. He probably thought in his heart to get there and twist God's words around (just my 21st century thinking). We know that God is all knowing, He knows our thoughts even before we think them. Did Balaam really think he could outsmart God? how silly, right? Anyhow, God knowing his thoughts, embarked on what I would like to call a battle with Balaam, and being the typical human, he couldn't even see or sense what was happening; he was probably lost in his thought, drawing out a strategic way to twist God's word around (reminds us of how we are sometimes, right?). "...The Horrible Thing..."

Mark 13:14-23, Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11 “…Abomination that causes desolation…” or what Contemporary English Version calls “The Horrible Thing” We are at the beginning of trouble, God’s people need not fear, and we are being called upon now to be on our guard. The good thing is that, because of His chosen ones (true believers), this time of “the horrible things” has been shortened- it is only going to be for a little while. Our anchor should hold tightly on Jesus Christ in these last days. Our fight is not against flesh and blood (Eph. 6:12). If you have never thought to pray and study the word for yourself, this is the time to start now to do so. It’s not about memorizing scriptures (though it will be nice to); it’s about feeding your spirit man, because a time is coming when what you have on the inside will come handy. “The whole creation waits breathless with anticipation for the revelation of God’s sons and daughters.”-Romans 8:19(CEB). Where are you, sons and daughters of the most high God, the world waits in [earnest] anticipation for your manifestation. I must bring to your awareness that now is the time for you to begin to shine forth in that which God has called you to. As the body of Christ, we need to mobilize, and come together to be able to fight against the enemy.
