A prayer...

Prayer; Dear heavenly Father, I worship you for you are Jehovah Elohim, the creator God. The one who made the heavens and the earth, the mighty God who breathe His life into man, the creator who was never created, the one who spoke the world to be. I thank you for your grace and mercies towards your children, and thank you for your unfailing love.   Mighty Father, when I get a an opportunity to speak to people, and I hear what they say about the politics that go on in the churches today, or the dishonesty and misconduct amongst people who say they have been called by you, it really does break my heart. However Lord,   I pray for these ones that sometimes fall prey to dishonest ministers of the gospel, and also for those that do not have an understanding   of what it means to be easy on ministers you have assigned to be their cover. I pray Lord that we will learn to pray for those that you have assigned to lead us; I also pray especially for the congregation, that t...

The world awaits YOU!!!

“The whole creation waits breathless with anticipation for the revelation of God’s sons and daughters.”-Romans 8:19(CEB). Where are you, sons and daughters of the most high God, the world waits in [earnest] anticipation for your manifestation. I must bring to your awareness that now is the time for you to begin to shine forth in that which God has called you to. As the body of Christ, we need to mobilize, and come together to be able to fight against the enemy. One person cannot go at it alone, we all (the body of Christ) need each other, we need to come together in love, in one accord, with   one voice, and stop tearing each other down, as this is the only way we can be able to quieten   the enemy (devil) in his track. The devil understands the power of unity very well, so he will try every trick in his book to dissuade believers, by making them find fault in everyone, and everything in, and about the church. Do not be foolish or deceived, be mindful, and stand firm, t...

It's a process...

Hey I'm a work in progress, don't judge me. Be very careful when you pray Psalm 139:23-24, because God will really search you deep down. He will bring things to the surface that you may think you have dealt with. When you tell yourself you have done pretty well in certain areas, or say may be one particular area, God is sure to let you be put in a situation where what you think you have overcome will be put to the test. Dear page, this is the dilemma that I have found myself in. However though, my thinking that I have dealt with such, can still be considered growth, because I am able to identify when things start to take a turn, and then find a way to get myself out of it, or recognize that, that is when I need to talk more to the Holy Spirit to help me in the area where I may still seem to be struggling. So I will boldly say it again, HEY, I'M A WORK IN PROGRESS. Prayer:   Dear Lord, thank you for helping me see areas in my life where I still have some struggles. I l...

The Third Person of the Trinity.

The Holy Spirit…     Is certainly not a dove, or an “IT” as some people like to refer to Him. The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity. Jesus Christ in John 14, called Him the helper, who is the Spirit of truth, whom the Father will send to come and guide us into all truth. He also points out that the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of us, and He is with us forever. Lord Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us, while the Holy Spirit is indwelling us on earth, teaching us about the Father and the Son. He enables us to do the will of the Father on earth. Romans 8:26 talks about how He helps us to pray the heart of God. We can do nothing of ourselves, unless the Holy Spirit of God in us helps us. The Holy Spirit longs for us to relate with Him, He waits patiently for us to ask that He helps us with all that God has called us to do. Our best bet in fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives on this earth, is surrendering to the Holy Spi...

Letter to self...

Dear Self,   You have come along way, you should be very proud of yourself. Remember God's promises to you in Jeremiah 29:11? Hold on to that hope that His plans for you are good, and continue to just rest in His presence, seeking His will for your life. I would ask one thing of you though, be easy on yourself, God knows what He is doing, He has you right where you need to be, do not rush the process. If anything, ride the waves, and just enjoy your journey to the top. I know some days can be challenging, but guess what? you have got what it takes, you are a lion. You are the daughter of a king. Hope to check with you soon dearest self. until then, keep being your fabulous self. Sincerely, You.

"...The Horrible Thing..."

Mark 13:14-23, Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11 “…Abomination that causes desolation…” or what Contemporary English Version calls “The Horrible Thing” We are at the beginning of trouble, God’s people need not fear, and we are being called upon now to be on our guard. The good thing is that, because of His chosen ones (true believers), this time of “the horrible things” has been shortened- it is only going to be for a little while. Our anchor should hold tightly on Jesus Christ in these last days. Our fight is not against flesh and blood (Eph. 6:12). If you have never thought to pray and study the word for yourself, this is the time to start now to do so. It’s not about memorizing scriptures (though it will be nice to); it’s about feeding your spirit man, because a time is coming when what you have on the inside will come handy. If you have been feeding your spirit, be sure that the Holy Spirit will help bring all of your downloads in your database to your remembrance, when needed (Mk...

Identity…

I have titled this post Identity, because that is what I really want to talk about today, especially as it pertains to our children, especially the young ones that are just beginning to find themselves, and are coming into their own. As someone who works with children ages 8-12, and sometimes 13yrs old, I see and hear a whole lot of things that bother me as a parent of an 8yrs old child, and sometimes these things, I must say, scare me to my very core, to the point that I have to remind myself of what the word of God says about how He’ll protect my offspring (Is 49:25). Parents, this is not to scare you, or cause your minds to worry, but to bring to your awareness that, making sure your children know and understand their identity in Christ, will help them a great deal as they step into the real world. The bible tells us that the father of all lies is the devil (John 8:44), he will go to any length to spread his lies; just like he is doing in our society as we speak. I love ...
